According to the MCX website, gold rose by Rs 45,938 per ten grams. On the other hand, silver futures rose 0.21 per cent to Rs 58,511 per kg. Across the country, the price of gold has increased by Tk 10 as compared to Wednesday. The price of 22 carat and 24 carat gold in the capital Delhi and Bangalore was Rs 45,350 and Rs 49,480 (Delhi) and Rs 43,500, Rs 46,960 (Hyderabad, Bangalore) respectively. In Chennai and Mumbai, the price of 22 carat and 24 carat gold was Rs 43,400 and Rs 47,350 (Chennai) and Rs 45,110 and Rs 46,110 (Mumbai) respectively.
On the other hand, the price of gold in Kolkata on Thursday rose to 22 carats per ten grams at Rs 44,450, which is Rs 50 more than on Wednesday. On the other hand, the price of 22 carat gold with hallmark stands at Rs 45,100 per 10 grams. In the city, the price of 24 carat gold rose by Rs 50 more than yesterday to Rs 46,850 per ten grat.
